Henderson Weather
Henderson/ Las Vegas averages over 300 days of sun per year. The drier climate has been noted for its health benefits. Henderson weather is known for the hot summers, moderate winters, warmth, light and enjoyable climate. Henderson living is enhanced by predictable, consistent weather patterns. Usually, the weather comes from the West Coast. It will bring occasional clouds and moisture from the south or north. Residents generally can count on dry air for weekend adventures. With weather temperatures currently averaging in the upper 80's its a great time to get outside this time of year.

part in golfing tournaments, driving range and putting greens. The
famous Tuscany Club offers visitors stunning views of the Las Vegas

Henderson Bike riding
River Mountains Loop Trail is often touted as the best biking trail in
Henderson. The other bike riding ranges in the city include Armargosa Trail, Burkholder trail, Anthem East trail and Flamingo Arroyo trail.
The 15.5 miles Flaming Arroyo trail passes through the center of
suburban Clark County, while the 6.3 mile Boulder Highway trail follows
through southeast Henderson. There is also the BMX dirt park at Arroyo Grande Sports Complex, where people of all ages can play and practice
different riding skills.
Henderson Trails
The city of Henderson, Nevada is home to some of America’s best hiking and riding trails. The trails are popular with hikers, runners, bike and motorcycle
riders as well as adventure seekers. The city has an extensive trail system that runs 120 miles. For example, the Pittman Wash Trail is very
popular with runners and hikers. There is also a popular cowboy trail
around Mt. Charleston, not far from Henderson.
Henderson Parks
Henderson is home to more than 60 parks; these parks are used for
various recreational activities including walking, skating, dog walking
and playground. They include the Arroyo Grande Sports Complex, Acacia Park, Anellino Park, Cinnamon Ridge Park, Cornerstone Park, Heritage Park, Pecos Legacy Park, Mountain Lake Park and River Mountain Park.
Some of the amenities in Mountain Lake Park include basketball Court,
Picnic area, restrooms, tennis court and playground.
Henderson Bird watching
The best place for bird watching in Henderson is at the 140 acres
Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve. The preserve is home to thousands of
migratory waterfowls and desert birds. During summer the preserve
attracts birds such as black-necked stilts, nesting American avocets,
ruddy ducks and mallards. During winter and early spring, the preserve
is usually home to several duck species including pintail, green wing,
bufflehead and the beautiful wood duck.
Henderson Pets
Henderson is a heaven for pet lovers. The city is home to several pet
stores including; Paw Prints Pat Suppliers, Reptiles-N-Reefs, Sloppy
Kisses Pet Stores, Petsmart, Petco and Petland among others. The most popular dog-parks in Henderson include Acacia Park, Capriola Park,
Aventura Park and Hidden Falls Park. There are also a number of hotels
that welcome people with pets, such as Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and
Spa, Fiesta Henderson Station Casino and Best Western Inn and Suites.
Henderson Pools
There are several aquatic facilities and water parks in Henderson that operate year
round; they include the Whitney Ranch Indoor Pool, Heritage Park Aquatic
Complex, Henderson Multi-generational Competition Pool and the
Henderson Multi-generational Indoor Pool. Sometimes the diving boards on
these pools are removed during recreational swimming if the need
arises. The Henderson Multi-generational center has a state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The seasonal pools in the city include
Silver Springs Outdoors, BMI Outdoor pool, Wells Outdoor Pool and Black
Mountain Aquatic Complex.
Henderson Recreation
The city of Henderson is home to several recreational centers; the
recreational centers feature game rooms, multi-fitness rooms and open
gym. The main recreational centers include; Black Mountain Recreational
Center and Aquatic Complex, Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, Valley View
Recreational Center and Henderson Multi-generational Center. These
recreational centers play host to variety of classes, workshops and
events all throughout the year. The most popular activities include
parenting tips, dancing, and cooking lessons. At the Henderson
Multi-generational Center people of all ages are encouraged to take
physical fitness lessons.
Henderson Outdoors
Henderson offers numerous outdoors attractions for people of all ages.
The most popular adventures include horse riding and road, air and
watercraft events. The Calville Bay Marina is a wildlife sanctuary on
Lake Mead; visitors often visit this sanctuary on boat to see the
beautiful scenery and wildlife. Visitors can also check out the Hoover Dam, which is an architectural marvel not very far from the city.
